Debbie was selected as one of the international artists exhibiting in the 2025 SACO Contemporary Art Biennial in Antofagasta, Chile, with the curatorial concept of Dark Ecosystems.

The work Glass Sponge presented a ghostly group of marine sponges, reflecting on their role in medicine and their vulnerability to underwater mining and climate change.

​

Following the opening, the selected artists participated in a journey to contextualize the territory, deep within the Atacama Desert.
