Falling Water was first exhibited as part of the Performance Arcade 2014.
An interactive installation, Falling Water involves a thin stream of water falling from the height of a 20ft shipping container, into a water catchment which remains at the same level. The work invites audience members to interact with the endless stream of water – it’s the natural resource that surrounds them on the waterfront, but which is becoming increasingly scarce. Originally inspired by Ōta Shōgo’s play The Water Station, the installation is a simple visual response to the issues of water scarcity and water ownership.
GoldFish Creative managed the production, installation and deinstallation of the work.
